About Liminal Abstract Modern Fine Art

From the creators of Porter Art Guild comes Liminal Abstract Modern Fine Art - a bold exploration of the spaces between form and feeling, where color, shape, and emotion converge.

Imagine the tension of a suspended moment captured in geometric precision, the raw energy of expressionist gesture meeting the serenity of color field meditation, and the distilled essence of minimalist clarity revealing profound depth.

Co-founders John and Tracy Porter's creative journey began when they met in Chicago - he from Illinois, she freshly returned from Paris. United by artistic passion, they settled on a 21-acre Wisconsin farmette where their vision blossomed into something extraordinary: a place where artistic boundaries dissolve and new dimensions emerge.

Their first venture, a hand-painted furniture company, quickly evolved as Tracy's artwork captivated audiences. The collection expanded to include apparel, rugs, and elegant dinnerware. With curiosity and unwavering commitment, they've navigated the intersections of creativity and commerce, continuously pushing the boundaries of their artistic practice.

Together, they've created Porter Art Guild, Wild Fig Emporium, Ranch Royalty, Canine Treasury, Seaside Atelier, and Narratives Fine Art - each venture a testament to their boundless imagination. Now, with Liminal Abstract, they venture into the realm of modern abstraction.

For John and Tracy, art transcends representation. It's a language of form, color, and gesture where emotion takes shape without narrative constraint, and the interplay of line and space creates its own compelling truth. As parents of four sons, they've built a life rich in both creativity and intellectual curiosity.

Through Porter Art Guild, they share their artistic journey with classical elegance. With Liminal Abstract Modern Fine Art, they explore the threshold spaces where figuration meets abstraction, where simplicity reveals complexity, and where each piece exists as a meditation on the essential elements of visual experience.
